Agi will be offering a flight tasting and discussion of four of our favorite wines: Patrick Bottex Vin de Bugey-Cerdon, Domaine de la Bongran Viré-Clessé, Bodegas Muga Rioja Reserva, and JL Chave Saint-Joseph “Offerus”.
Patrick Bottex’s delicious Vin de Bugey-Cerdon comes from the Jura near Switzerland. His sparkling rosé is made in the ancestrale method, meaning that the yeast is not disgorged form bottle fermentation.
Domaine de la Bongran is one of the most enigmatic estates in the Maconnais. Jean Thévenet’s fully ripened organic chardonnays are the toast of anyone that can get them
Rioja has gone through a number of changes in the last few decades. But not Bodegas Muga. Their Rioja Reserva is as classic as they come, filled with integrated oak, mint, flowers and black cherries.
Jean-Louis Chave is synonymous with Hermitage, where his family has been making Syrah since the 11th century.
